Bennett Marine was founded in 1960 by Charles Bennett in Detroit, and in 1977 the company opened new subsidiary in Florida. They manufacture and sell hydraulic and electric flaps. In 2017, they joined the Yamaha Marine family. They focused their development on electrical and hydraulic systems suitable for all vessels. The official representative for Slovenia is our company.

HYDRAULIC FLAPS
Hydraulic flaps enable faster gliding and gliding at a lower speed. They provide less shaking and faster sailing speeds. Maintenance is easy and affordable. The use of hydraulic flaps improves visibility and safety. The choice of hydraulic flaps depends on the engine power and configuration, the weight distribution, the type of vessel and its use. Flexible hydraulic cylinders push the flaps to the correct position. Cables and wires are hidden and thus protected from sea water. Hydraulic flaps are available with several control options and in different sizes.
ELECTRIC FLAPS
System with robust and watertight drive. Cables and seals are fully protected from sea water (leakage and sea growth). The installation is easy and fast. The flaps are suitable for speedboats, dinghies, centre console boats and Fishermen.
SLT AUTOMATIC VESSEL LEVELING FLAPS
SLT series flaps are intended for smaller vessels where hydraulic or electric flaps cannot be fitted. They react to vessel speed and water pressure and automatically add trim. At a lower speed, the actuators hold the flaps down, the stern rises slowly, the vessel is placed in a position for gliding. Water pressure pushes the flaps down when the vessel rises out of the water and its speed increases. SLT flaps allow for a soft and pleasant ride without vibrations, provide lower fuel consumption, and are installed in less than an hour. The SLT series is suitable for dinghies, small boats and speedboats.
HYDRAULIC PUMPS
It uses hydraulic pressure to lower and lift the flaps. It uses two electromagnetic valves to direct fluid flow to the batteries. The valves close tightly and allow the flaps to remain in place. The hydraulic unit is protected from external influences by a lexan cover.
INDICATORS AND SWITCHES
The Bennett switch is designed for hydraulic systems. It allows precise control of the flaps. The installation of the switch is safe and easy.
The Bennett switch with indication is intended for electrical systems. In one switch there is a combination of three functions: switch control, flap position indicator and automatic positioning of the flaps in the starting position. The switch has a waterproof keyboard and connectors to ensure smooth operation. Quick and easy installation, with plug and play function. The control unit has status LEDs that simplify installation.
