Zipwake started with a vision.
In this case, to develop and bring to the motorboat world new, complete and highly competitive solutions to the well-known trim problems of planing and semi-planing boats. In 2011, a carefully selected team of engineers with solid knowledge and experience from both the marine and automotive industry was put together. After three and a half years of intense product development, the first Zipwake Dynamic Trim Control system, the Series S, was launched in Amsterdam in November at METS 2014.
Zipwake’s stylish control panel is carefully designed to be user-friendly and intuitive to allow the driver to focus on the right thing – enjoying the boat ride! The panel’s two unique control wheels provide easy, quick and intuitive manual control of running trim, heel or heading. However, the system normally operates in automatic control mode, which is enabled by a single press on the AUTO button.
Installation of the complete interceptor system is not demanding and doesn’t require any special knowledge or tools for that matter. Interceptors can be installed in almost every vessel. In some cases bellow the waterline in other above the waterlline using only glue or screws. In each set you’ll find a template for choosing the place where interceptors should be mounted.
A complete package
The Zipwake Dynamic Trim Control System comes complete with everything you need, including all necessary parts and software for active motion control. This at a reasonable price due to mass production and use of micro components developed for the the marine and automotive industries.

The panel’s two unique control wheels provide easy, quick and intuitive manual control of running trim, heel or heading. However, the system normally operates in automatic control mode, which is enabled by a single press on the AUTO button. In this mode, the built-in high-frequency GPS, 3D gyro sensors and robust motion controller automatically ensure dynamic elimination of un- comfortable and dangerous boat pitch and roll.

SYSTEM
Zipwake Series S, the world’s first inexpensive dynamic trim-control system, incorporates a state-of-the-art family of durable, fast-acting interceptors. The system is fully automatic. It significantly enhances the boat’s performance, fuel economy, comfort and safety when accelerating, turning or running in a seaway.

KIT BOX
A Kit Box includes all parts needed to install a Dynamic Trim Control System with one pair of fast-acting straight interceptors. There are four different Kit Boxes, one for each interceptor length.
Any base installation can be expanded with up to two extra pairs of Series S interceptors, thus allowing a total of six interceptors without any need for additional connectors or power supply.
