ICOM was founded in 1954 by Tokuzo Inoue and then grew into a global company, ICOM Inc., in 1964. Their headquarters are in Osaka, Japan. It is a leading company in the radio equipment industry \u2013 amateur radio, land mobile radio, marine radio and aviation radio.
