Chargers, inverters, batteries
Mastervolt is part of the company Power Products, where together with the brands Blue Sea System, Marinco, ProMariner, CZone, Lenco, Ancor and BEP, they offer a complete range of electrical products for the needs and wishes of all users. It was founded in 1991. The development of their products takes place in three R&D centres: the Netherlands (Amsterdam), New Zealand (Auckland) and the United States (Wisconsin). Mastervolt products are ISO 9001 certified. For Slovenia, our company is the official representative.
Mastervolt presents reliable and innovative solutions for autonomous power supply. As experts in power management, conversion and storage, they offer an extensive portfolio of products with a power range of 300 W to 40 kW. Their solutions are often used in demanding situations: maritime, solar systems, infrastructure systems, caravanning and off-shore power supplies.
CHARGERS
12 V or 24 V chargers are available. They provide fast and complete battery charging. The innovative three-stage charging mode ensures fast and safe charging, making the batteries work better and longer. They allow central, local or remote control and configurations. Chargers accompany the service battery and compensate for voltage loss. They also charge completely empty batteries. They protect the starter battery by detecting engine operation.
DC – DC CHARGERS
12 V or 24 V DC – DC charger is available. It accompanies the service battery, ensures its optimal condition and compensates for the loss of voltage. Fast and safe charging provides a three-stage charging mode. By stabilising the charging voltage, the charger protects the service battery and sensitive equipment.
PORTABLE BATTERY CHARGERS
The portable battery charger can be used on a vessel, in a car, on a motorcycle or in a motorhome. It is easy to operate and has a universal input (120 – 230V). You can choose between 6V or 12V operation. The unit includes a 1.8 m long cable that connects to a 61 cm long cable with annular clips or a 61 cm long cable with”crocodiles” for easy installation. The portable charger is suitable for all types of batteries (also lithium-ion). It provides charging up to a temperature of 40° The charger allows easy switching between 6V and 12V. It is portable and waterproof.
COMBINED UNITS
Combined (Combi) unit ensures longer, reliable and noiseless operation of the batteries. The automatic AC transfer system switches between the generator or the mains power supply and the inverter output, ensuring a continuous supply of electricity. With the Power Assist function, it prevents the fuse from being triggered when connecting to a weak earth line or a small generator.
SOLAR REGULATORS
Solar regulator is available in PWM or MPPT technology. PWM technology enables the charging of batteries with solar energy. However, the MPPT system allows up to 30% faster charging. Both systems are suitable for a 36 cell solar panel (12V system) and a 72 cell solar panel (24V system). The PWM system is suitable for all types of lead-acid batteries and the MPPT system is suitable for all types of batteries (including Li-ion batteries). The regulators are suitable for use in all applications as they are water-resistant and have negative grounding and withstand high temperatures.

BATTERIES
Mastervolt provides exceptional performance of Li-ion batteries even in the most difficult conditions, such as high charging and discharging currents, wet environments, mechanical shocks or vibrations. This can be achieved by combining Mastervolt’s best lithium-iron phosphate (LiFePO4) cells with a patented battery management system (BMS) in a sturdy, waterproof housing. The Mastervolt BMS system ensures optimal use of each individual cell, and the built-in battery monitoring provides accurate and up-to-date information on the battery status. The built-in communication of NMEA 2000, CZone or MasterBus enables complete integration of the system, which ensures the best possible charging and at the same time extends the life of the battery. Gel batteries are charged very quickly. In normal use and without maintenance, no gases are generated, which allows installation anywhere, as they do not require ventilation for their operation. They are ideal as service batteries or for cyclical use. AGM batteries are suitable for systems requiring high currents, as they allow very fast discharge at very high currents – e.g. starting the engine. For these batteries, the electrolyte or a mixture of water and sulphuric acid is largely absorbed into the glass fibres. In normal use and without maintenance, no gases are generated, so installation is possible anywhere.
