Fire extinguishing systems

The American company Sea Fire Marine is a global leader in offshore fire extinguishing technology. They design and manufacture fire extinguishers and fire extinguishing systems for both industrial and recreational vessels. Their offer includes fire blankets, hand portable fire extinguishers, carbon monoxide detectors, thermal sensors, fire extinguishing systems and fire detection systems. For fire extinguishing, the environmentally friendly agent NOVEC 1230, from 3M Corporation, is used. For Slovenia, our company is the official representative.

MODULAR EXTINGUISHING SYSTEMS

Modular fire extinguishing systems are custom-made and can protect rooms from 42.5m³ to 500m³. They provide reliable and economical solutions. They are suitable for large trip boats, yachts, work boats and other vessels. The system is extremely flexible, with the possibility of automatic and manual or only manual system. It includes 30 or 60 second time delay, alarm sirens and pressure shutdowns to maintain compartment integrity. The system is manufactured and tested in accordance with IMO/SOLAS requirements and international approvals (USCG and Lloyds MCA).

ACCESSORIES

Fire control panel FireStop is an integrated marine fire detection, fire extinguisher control and engine and machine shutdown system:

  • 12/24 V DC system (designed for marine integrated fire system to work with the vessel’s batteries. There is also a spare 24 V rechargeable battery (as an option).
  • Modular extension (modular system that can be expanded with 2 – 16 COM).
  • Early fire detection (heat and smoke detectors approved by the IMO Organization).
  • Integration with the fire extinguishing system (fully integrates with the previously designed and manufactured Sea-Fire fire extinguishing system to provide alarms (only for non-USCG compliant applications).
  • Machine shutdown system (integrated relays are connected to stop engines, generators, ventilation and machines in case of system activation).
  • Simple user interface (multiple control panels that can be located at key locations throughout the vessel).
